1902
Passier Founded in The Hague
In 1902, J.E. Passier started as a small plumbing company on the Singel in The Hague
1938-67
Expanding into Bathrooms & Home Renovations
From 1928 to 1967, Philip Passier expanded the plumbing business with a hardware and tool shop, responding to the growing demand for high-quality materials and craftsmanship, thus laying the foundation for the further professionalization and growth of the family business.
1980
Opening of Large Showroom in The Hague
In 1980, Hans Passier took a new step by opening The Hague's first DIY store alongside his plumbing business. This responded to the growing need among homeowners to do their own DIY projects and laid the foundation for a broader range of services within the company.
1985
Two-story showroom
In 1980, Hans Passier took a new step by opening The Hague's first DIY store alongside his plumbing business. This responded to the growing need among homeowners to do their own DIY projects and laid the foundation for a broader range of services within the company.
1989
Transition ownership
In 1989, Hans Sr. died unexpectedly, after which Hans Jr. continued running the company with his mother. They worked for the Government Buildings Agency, De Bijenkorf, and KPN, among others.
2002
Titled as Royal Purveyor
In 2002, Passier's craftsmanship and long history were officially recognized with the title of Purveyor to the Royal Household.
2016
A new chapter in The Hague
In 2016, Passier established its current showroom on the Dennenweg, a prime A-location in The Hague. This marked a new phase in which our expertise, craftsmanship and vision come together in one place
